Heat Advisory coming on tomorrow
Hazardous Weather Outlook issued 302 am Sep 3 by NWS Hanford
HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM WEDNESDAY TO 8 PM PDT
FRIDAY...High temperatures of 102 to 107 degrees expected. Overnight
lows as warm as the upper 70s. Moderate to high heat risk expected for a portion of central California.
Hot temperatures with little overnight relief may cause heat illnesses.
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

Coastal Hazards - Rip Current from the National Weather Service
The NWS provides a wealth of information on more than just the weather. Coastal Surf Zone Forecast provides information on beach hazards, generally including sky condition, precipitation, visibility, air temperature, wind speed and direction, wave height, surf temperature, tide information, rip currents, lightning, severe thunderstorms, and the ultraviolet index. The Surf Zone Forecast provides vital information for staying safe in and around the West Coast beaches, generally including sky condition, precipitation, visibility, air temperature, wind speed and direction, wave height, surf temperature, tide information, rip currents, lightning, severe thunderstorms, and the ultraviolet index.
The Rip Current Outlook is a forecast of expected rip current conditions. The colored flags posted on surf beaches are the estimation of and expectation of local beach patrol, lifeguards, or local law enforcement officials. These colored flags refer to one of any number of surf zone hazards. The colored flags reflect actual, current surf zone hazards. The Rip Current Outlook portion of the Surf Zone Forecast provides standardized terminology for describing this hazard.
