DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM PST THIS MORNING...
Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog, particularly on coastal mesas and higher coastal terrain and
western parts of the valleys of Orange County Coastal and Inland Areas,
San Diego County Coastal Areas and Valleys.
Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous. If driving, slow down, use your low beam headlights, and leave
plenty of distance ahead of you.

Santee, San Diego, Huntington Beach, Fullerton, El Cajon,
Carlsbad, and Garden Grove
Streamflow Situation from the network of USGS river flow gauges in California
Much above seasonal normal water levels remain widespread in the network of the northwest midweek, mainly in Siskiyou, Del Norte, Humboldt, Trinity Counties. Sonoma County has one station running above 90th percentile, Dry Creek is running at the 99th percentile near Healdsburg in North Coast watershed Region 1, see the blue tag on the front page map for the water level, marked in blue. Turlock Lake watershed is monitored near La Grange in the Central Valley watershed Region 5. As of this report, this monitoring station sends a record high for New Years Day, 1360 cubic feet per second, the highest rate at this location in 124 years of measuring and recording the water level.
Clear and 45 degrees at Visalia Municipal airport, the Hanford-San Joaquin local forecast office projects a high 56, mostly sunny New Year's Day. Forty-seven in downtown San Francisco, the expectation today being partly sunny, high 58. Patchy fog continues to plague Los Angeles watershed, 61 degrees heading up to 71 later today. San Diego is under a Dense Fog Advisory New Year's Day, see above. Partly cloudy, 54 degrees, the high today 65, sunny after 10 am when the fog clears.
