Streamflow Situation from the network of USGS river flow gauges in California
Light rain with dense fog, 46 degrees at Visalia Municipal Airport this hour, fog is expected to clear off after noon today, becoming sunny, high 56. Fog is forecast for the central valley most of the week with a slight chance of rain Thursday. Sunny, 51 degrees in downtown San Francisco, chance of rain Wednesday evening through Friday. Sunny days with foggy nights and mornings for Los Angeles, no significant offer for rain in the forecast this week. Sunny and 59 in San Diego, no rain in the forecast.

Looking at the water levels presently recorded through the 9 watersheds of California, we see seasonal normal to above normal readings from the north to the south coastal areas, mostly normal in the Central Valley, trending below seasonal in the interior Lahontan and Colorado River watersheds. Lahontan's Amargosa River has been tracking the lowest levels, maintaining southeast Inyo County in extreme drought. Colorado River watershed runs below normal on the drought map through San Bernardino, Riverside and Imperial Counties.
