DENSE FOG ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM PST THIS MORNING ... Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.

Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous. If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

Streamflow Situation from the network of USGS river monitoring sites in California
Dense fog, mist, 49 degrees at Visalia Municipal Airport, the forecast coming from San Joaquin-Hanford today calls for high 65 as the fog fades and the clouds disperse.

Streamflows are up over the weekend, normal to above normal in the north coastal Region 1 and Central Valley Region 5 with a few stations in the east Region 5 running much above normal Sunday. Just to the south in Region 6 Lahontan watershed, extreme drought continues along the Amargosa River channel. San Francisco Bay runs mostly above seasonal normal, Los Angeles watershed region above to much above normal, to the south, San Diego watershed region runs a mix of above and much below normal streamflow levels, influenced by planned releases from the dams. Releases from the Colorado River impoundments are maintaining water levels at below seasonal normal, though there are currently no drought conditions noted in watershed Region 7. As of this report, there are no floodings or extreme high flows registering in the network of USGS gauges in California, and no 1st percentile low flows.

Hazardous Spill Files from the Office of Emergency Services
San Diego County: A 30 ft x 60 ft sheen reported to CA Emergency Services on West Marina, Harbor Island near San Diego has not been identified as to source, under investigation. When charges are laid under the Clean Water Act, the federal District Courts in California hear the evidence and issue the sentencing for convicted polluters.
