DENSE FOG ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON FRIDAY ... Visibility one quarter mile to as low as 200 feet or less in dense fog in portion of central California.
Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous. If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

Streamflow Situation from the network of USGS river monitoring sites in California
Dense fog, mist, 48 degrees at Visalia Municipal Airport, the forecast coming from San Joaquin-Hanford today calls for high 58 in dense fog.
An area of extreme drought has been applied to the Lahontan watershed Region 6 along the Amargosa River channel, a USGS streamflow gauge at Tecopa indicating 3rd percentile low flow. Coastal watersheds are recording water levels mainly seasonal normal to above normal with two or three much above normal ratings in San Francisco Bay and Los Angeles watersheds. San Diego watershed region is becoming slower and lower with half the monitoring sites observing flows in the bottom tenth percentile. Releases from the Colorado River impoundments are creating variable water levels downstream from extreme low to extreme high. As of this report, there are no floodings recorded in the network of USGS.

There are no storms expected within the next 48 hours. There are no disturbances expected to develop over the next 7 days in the East North Pacific, wrapping up the 2024 hurricane season. This is the last report we will convey from the NHC Miami.
Hazardous Spill Files from the Office of Emergency Services
San Diego County: A 30 ft x 60 ft sheen reported to CA Emergency Services on West Marina, Harbor Island near San Diego has not been identified as to source, under investigation. When charges are laid under the Clean Water Act, the federal District Courts in California hear the evidence and issue the sentencing for convicted polluters.
