A large portion of southeast California is rated on the drought map since the weekend, Lahontan watershed Region 6 and Colorado River watershed Region 7 are rated below normal. Inyo County in the Lahontan watershed has escalated to moderate drought along the east side with Colorado River watershed Region 7 San Bernadino, Riverside and Imperial Counties rated below normal.

Hazardous Spill Files from the Office of Emergency Services
Two sewage spills were reported Friday, both involving overflowing manholes, likely resulting from the volume of rain last week. An estimated 1000 gallons of sewage was spilled November 22 from a manhole on East Painter St in Rio Dell, Humboldt County, where the water levels have been much above seasonal normal. That same day, November 22, 1155 gallons of sewage erupted from a manhole onto the roadway and down a storm drain on Whittier Blvd and Broadway Rd in Whittier, Los Angeles County. The storm drain outfall delivers stormwater and contaminants from the street to a local stream.
