Much above seasonal normal streamflows through Los Angeles, San Diego watersheds

Streamflow Situation from the USGS network of streamflow gauges in California
Streamflows in the south coastal watersheds are running higher this week, above the 90th percentile in Los Angeles and San Diego watersheds. The drought map is toning down in the north coastal watershed Region 1, southwest Humboldt County is stepped down to moderate drought with a band of below normal rated area through the west side of Mendocino County. Colorado River watershed remains in a low pattern, record low water levels on Colorado River and New River is still running 1st percentile near Westmoreland. The drought rating for Region 9 Colorado River remains at below normal, impacting Lakeside, Imperial and San Bernardino Counties. No extreme high flows or flood events are recorded in the monitoring network as of this report.
